Strategy only creates value when organizations have the alignment, capability, and discipline to execute.
Kingfisher Consulting was founded on a simple belief: the gap between strategy and results is almost never about the strategy.
The common kingfisher — a symbol of focus, precision, and purposeful action.
Precision. Purpose. Decisive action.
The kingfisher is a small bird known for its remarkable focus and precision. It doesn't chase every opportunity. It waits, observes, and acts with purpose. When it dives, it commits fully, transforming preparation into decisive action.
That philosophy reflects how we approach every client engagement.
Clarity. Discipline. Purposeful execution. Sustainable growth isn't built on quick fixes or endless planning. It's built by making thoughtful decisions, executing well, and creating lasting momentum.
The kingfisher reminds us that extraordinary results come not from doing more, but from doing the right things with precision and purpose.
Purposeful strategy. Proven results.
Kelsey Harris
Founder, Kingfisher Consulting
After more than 15 years helping organizations improve sales performance, develop leaders, and implement change, Kelsey Harris saw the same pattern repeatedly: the strategy was rarely the problem. The gap was what happened between strategy and results.
Before founding Kingfisher Consulting, Kelsey served as Vice President of Client Engagement and Results for a global sales performance consulting firm, where she partnered with executive teams and led enterprise client strategy across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Earlier in her career, she founded and led a telecommunications company before serving as a director at a management consulting firm focused on helping privately held businesses improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance.
Throughout her career, she has worked with organizations ranging from growing businesses to Fortune Global 500 companies across technology, SaaS, healthcare, life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, and industrial markets. Her clients know her for asking thoughtful questions, listening before recommending solutions, and staying focused on what matters most: creating lasting business impact.
What truly differentiates Kelsey is her ability to help organizations make change stick. Drawing on deep expertise in change management, leadership, sales transformation, and the thoughtful application of AI to business processes, she helps leaders move beyond planning and into sustained execution.
Kelsey's insights have been featured in Sales & Marketing Management, Selling Power, Training Industry, and the Association for Talent Development.
Outside of work, Kelsey's greatest priorities are her faith, her husband Chuck, and their five adult children. When she is not partnering with clients, you'll likely find her cheering on her Tar Heels, on the golf course, casting a line in search of the next big catch in Beaufort, NC, or enjoying a quiet afternoon with a watercolor brush in hand.
Recognized for results.
